Now that the hurricane has passed through our area, we kindly ask everyone to stay off the roadways as much as possible while conditions continue to improve. We sincerely hope that you and your families have come through the storm with minimal damage and are safe and sound.

As we begin to recover, let’s remember to check on our neighbors, especially our elderly residents, those who live alone, and anyone who may need a helping hand. Sometimes, the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Over the coming days and weeks, let’s come together as a community and remember what it truly means to love thy neighbor. Let’s show the world the heart of Southern hospitality—lending a hand, sharing what we have, and looking out for one another when times get tough.

Flat Rock is more than just a place on the map; it’s our home, our community, and our neighbors are our family. ❤️

Let’s roll up our sleeves, join hands, and work together to clean up and restore our wonderful community. When the skies clear and the work is done, may we look around with grateful hearts and pride in knowing that we are blessed to call Flat Rock, Alabama, home
