Heads up, Libby users! Starting Tuesday, October 13, Libby will require you to verify your library card with your PIN. When you borrow or place a hold, you’ll enter your 14‑digit CCLS barcode (no spaces!) and your PIN—the same one used for self‑checkout and your online account.

Need to reset your PIN? Visit catalog.ccls.org/pinreset or stop by the library.

We’ll share a reminder post with step‑by‑step login instructions as we get closer to October 13.

We’re grateful to the volunteers from Venerable’s Strategy and Implementation Team who joined us during their annual Month of Service to help refresh the StoryWalk® at Exton Park. With Chester County grounds staff, they spread wood chips around each panel and helped make the space welcoming for families and readers all season long.

Our Henrietta Hankin Branch Library now has a native plant garden too! Check it out at 215 Windgate Dr, Chester Springs, PA 19425. 🌱🪾

Henrietta Hankin Library is thrilled to unveil our new native garden—made possible through the generosity of Richard Hankin and Ada Brainsky and supported by the Chester County Library Trust. Chester County Library’s own native garden was planted in July.
Designed by Ecolandscapes Design, the garden converts the area around our main entrance into a biodiverse habitat of native plants that nurtures pollinators, birds, and local wildlife. Look for aster woods, hydrangea ‘ruby slippers’, woodland phlox and many others that together support more than 900 species.
Native plants bolster the ecosystem by offering familiar food and shelter for wildlife, improving soil health, filtering rainwater, and flourishing without pesticides. Follow along as the garden matures and enjoy the seasonal blooms—come see our new native garden!

Fiddler Melissa Lisbao and guitarist Alec Charon blend classical and jazz training with authentic Irish tradition, creating a modern, expressive sound. Both are full‑time, degreed musicians and teachers—and rising stars in the Greater Philadelphia Irish trad scene. Register using the link in the comments.
