There’s a difference between being interested in Fairborn and being invested in Fairborn.
Fairborn isn’t just a place where I live. It’s a community I’ve built my life in, a community I care deeply about, and a community I’ve spent years getting to know from the ground up.
I’ve been here. I’ve been involved. I’ve been showing up.
I’ve attended City Council meetings and work sessions. I’ve talked with residents, business owners, city employees, department heads, and people throughout our community. I’ve asked questions, listened to concerns, and taken the time to learn how our city operates.
And I’m not going to stop.
I respect anyone who wants to get involved in Fairborn. Military service, professional experience, community involvement, and personal relationships can all bring something valuable to the table.
But when you ask the residents of Fairborn for their vote, you’re asking them to trust you with decisions that affect their city, their tax dollars, their families, and their future.
That responsibility requires more than simply sitting in a chair.
I’m not interested in being a flower pot on City Council.
I want to be engaged. I want to ask the hard questions. I want to look at the facts, the cost, the risks, the benefits, and the long-term consequences before decisions are made.
And when I make a decision, I’m willing to stand behind it.
I’m not going to reveal every idea I’m working on just so somebody else can copy it and repeat it later. The people of Fairborn will hear my ideas directly from me when the time is right.
But one thing I will make very clear:
I know Fairborn. I care about Fairborn. I’ve been involved in Fairborn. And I’m willing to work for Fairborn.
In 2027, I’m asking the residents of this city to take a serious look at what each candidate brings to the table—not just who they know, where they work, or who they’re connected to.
Look at the person.
Look at their experience.
Look at their involvement.
Look at their willingness to show up and do the work.
I’m Jimmy Baker, and I’m coming back in 2027 because I believe Fairborn deserves a strong, independent voice on City Council.
Fairborn First. Accountability. Integrity. The Voice of the People.
I’m not going anywhere.
