Today’s workout: handing out sample ballots and trying not to cross ALL my fingers! Months of hard work, and now it’s in the voters’ hands. So grateful to Johanna for being my first volunteer today and keeping me company at the polls—I owe her a photo!

A 4:30 a.m. start, a beautiful Election Day ahead, and a heart overflowing with gratitude.

To everyone who brought homemade meals to my family, welcomed me at the door, publicly stood beside me, or sent a perfectly timed “you’ve got this”, THANK YOU. You’ve made the hectic days easier and the tough moments lighter.

Through the laughter, tears, and friendships that have grown stronger along the way, this journey has reminded me how fortunate I am to call this community home. It truly takes a village, and I’m so grateful for mine. Let’s finish strong, Fairfax City!

Honored to again receive the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction. With a sister who was at Virginia Tech during the shootings and a son at ODU during this year’s shooting, preventing gun violence is deeply personal. I’m proud to have helped strengthen Fairfax City’s gun ordinance and implement protections sooner. I’ll keep working toward common ground that protects lives, respects responsible gun ownership, and makes our community safer.

Two days to go, more doors to knock, and Fairfax City is showing off its fall colors!

My Council colleague and fellow candidate, Stacy Hall, and I spent this beautiful day connecting with neighbors and reminding everyone to vote this Tuesday!

Growing up all over the world taught me that seasons like these aren’t something to take for granted. I’m feeling especially grateful for our City’s beautiful trees, changing leaves, and a perfect day to be outside enjoying it all.

We brought our own starting lineup to the last day of early voting! Fairfax High School jerseys, ballot numbers, and plenty of Halloween spirit. Big thanks to Kelly O’Brien and Stacy Hall for getting every Council candidate suited up and to everyone who came out to vote!

Thank you to the National Women’s Political Caucus of Virginia for including me in the 2026 Pro-Choice Pledge Class. I will always stand for women to have the same autonomy over our bodies that men have over theirs. 💜

💜 Congratulations to the NWPC Virginia Pro-Choice Pledge Class of 2026! 🎉

Today, we proudly recognize 10 Virginia candidates who have boldly stepped forward to stand with us in the fight for reproductive freedom!

We are grateful for your courage, commitment, and willingness to champion the rights of women and families across the Commonwealth. Your voices matter. Your leadership matters. And your commitment to reproductive freedom matters! đź’Şđź’ś

🗳️ Now it’s YOUR turn to take a stand! On November 3, make your voice heard at the ballot box. Vote for the future you believe in, because reproductive freedom is on the ballot!

đź’ś Together, we are stronger. Together, we move forward!

It felt so good to be back at Fairfax High School for Friday Night Lights! A highlight of tonight’s Pyramid Night was hearing the Katherine Johnson Middle School band play alongside the FHS band. Loved seeing our students making music together and families from across the pyramid coming out to cheer them on.

A beautiful fall evening to be a Lion, or a future one!

It takes courage to stand before a room and share the hardest chapters of your life. I’m grateful to those who did at The Lamb Center’s Hope and a Future Banquet. Their stories of survival, support, and rebuilding will stay with me.

With Beacon Landing nearing completion, a decade of faith and perseverance is becoming a place to call home. Proud of Fairfax City’s part in this shared effort, and deeply grateful to the people who keep showing up for our neighbors.

Special congratulations to nurse practitioner Nathalie Louis on her well-deserved recognition for years of compassionate service!

“Never underestimate a PTA parent.”

From PTA to School Board to City Council, we’ve learned that being underestimated can be a superpower. 🦸🏼‍♀️
