Our Pence Family Shout-Out goes to Ashley Luke. If you’ve ever seen Ms. Ashley out on crossing guard duty, you know she brings the sunshine with her! Always smiling, waving at the kids and buses, and completing the whole look with her iconic cone hat, she makes even the busiest mornings a little brighter!
Ms. Ashley is also her student’s BIGGEST cheerleader! She is always the first to tell anyone who will listen about his amazing growth and accomplishments. She has worked so hard to help bring her student out of his shell, and it’s been wonderful to see the progress he has made with her encouragement, patience, and dedication.
On top of all that, she is an incredible team member in the classroom! Whether she’s offering advice, cutting and labeling materials, lending an ear when someone needs it, or stepping in to cover another student so a teammate can take a quick break, Ms. Ashley is always willing to help. She is the kind of coworker who makes a difference not only for her students but for everyone around her.
