The Salvation Army Northern Division exists only because of our incredible volunteers across Minnesota and North Dakota. The time and energy they dedicate to serving our neighbors is remarkable, and we are grateful for every volunteer who gives back throughout the year.
As the temperatures drop and the holidays approach, we encourage you to spread a little extra joy this season by volunteering to serve those in need. Together, we can make a difference in our communities across Minnesota and North Dakota.

A warm coat, a cozy blanket, or a pair of mittens can mean so much when temperatures fall. As winter approaches, please support The Salvation Army’s seasonal assistance efforts and help our neighbors access the essentials they need.
Every act of generosity helps bring hope
to our community.

Fall is here and cooler days are on the way.
As the seasons change, a warm coat, cozy sweater, or pair of gloves can make a meaningful difference for a neighbor in need.
This fall, let’s look out for one another and help our community prepare for the colder months ahead. If you have any new or gently-used warm clothing to spare, please donate them at your local Salvation Army.
Together we can bring warmth to our neighbors, one act of kindness at a time.

Today is International Day of Peace.

Choose compassion.
Care for your neighbors.
Celebrate what unites us.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, 2026. This month is a time to recognize and celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures, and meaningful contributions of Americans whose heritage traces back to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

We are incredibly proud to represent so many beautiful cultures and backgrounds from across the world. While our traditions and experiences may differ, we are united by one thing: the calling Jesus has placed on our hearts.

Take a look at these photos celebrating our Hispanic officers across the division. We are grateful for the diversity, dedication, and faith that make our community so special.

The finish line is in sight. Let’s keep going!

Our fiscal year ends Sept. 30, 2026. A special gift before Sept. 30 can help make sure we have the resources to respond when someone reaches out for help.

Because of your ongoing generosity, a struggling family has food on the table. A person without a home has somewhere safe to sleep. A single mom working toward a better future has someone walking alongside her.

Please help us keep that momentum going. Donate today at
