Marion County Rescue Squad is proud to announce Donna Wade as Chief of MCRS and Stacy Martin as Deputy Chief.

Chief Wade has been part of the MCRS family for 21 years, beginning her service with the agency in 2005. She became a paid EMT in 2006 and has served in many roles over the years, including Dayshift Supervisor and, for the past four years, Assistant Chief. Donna has also remained actively involved in service and leadership efforts at the city, county, and state levels.

Deputy Chief Stacy Martin has proudly served MCRS for 19 years and has also held several leadership roles within the agency, including Captain. She chairs the MCRS Leadership Committee and has played an important role in overseeing agency supplies and equipment needs.

Together, Donna and Stacy bring a combined 40 years of service to MCRS. More importantly, they bring decades of dedication to this agency, its people, and the community we are honored to serve.

MCRS has been a big part of both of their lives, and we are excited to see them step into these new roles together.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Donna Wade and Deputy Chief Stacy Martin as we begin this next chapter at Marion County Rescue Squad. ❤️🚑

💜 Today is Save a Life Day! 💚

Today, September 24th, Marion County is joining communities across the region for Save a Life Day, with multiple locations offering FREE naloxone (Narcan), training, community resources, and more.

Narcan can reverse an opioid overdose and save a life. Having it available and knowing how to use it can make all the difference when seconds matter.

There are several distribution sites throughout Marion County today, including Grant Town EMS, Veterans Square, Friendship Fairmont, White Hall Pharmacy, Morningstar Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, MVA Clinic, and the Falcon Center at Fairmont State University.

No judgment. No stigma. Just resources, education, and people working together to help keep our community safe. 💜

Please check out the flyer for locations and hours, and consider stopping by to pick up Narcan …you never know when you may have the opportunity to save a life.

A huge thank you to our Marion County QRT and all of the community partners who make days like this possible! 💚💜

Save a Life. Carry Narcan. Be prepared.

🎭🚑 WHO’S WHO AT MCRS?! 🚑🎭

Nothing like a little costume fun to keep everyone guessing! 😂 Our MCRS crew switched things up, dressed the part, and had plenty of laughs trying to figure out who’s who!

Between the long shifts, busy calls, and everyday craziness of EMS, it’s moments like these that bring our crew together. ❤️

Can YOU tell who’s who?! 👀
