We were alerted last night to assist in Upshur county with water rescues. We, along with several other departments, ended up not being able to make it to Upshur but we were able to assist with the massive flooding in Lewis county instead.

We responded with UTV15, Attack 15, Brush 15 and unit 156. We had 7 members respond including our Assistant Chief and Captain.

Our thoughts are still with those that have been affected.

If you come across high water, do not drive through it. Turn around don't drown.

Happy Father's Day from Boothsville Volunteer Fire Department! 🚒

Today, we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who provide strength, guidance, and support to their families and communities every day.

A special thank you goes out to the dads who answer the call to serve, often sacrificing time with their own families to help others in need. Your dedication, courage, and commitment do not go unnoticed.

We hope all fathers enjoy a safe, happy, and well-deserved Father's Day surrounded by those they love.

Happy Father's Day from all of us at Boothsville VFD! ❤️🇺🇸
