UPDATED JULY 1, 2026 -

The Fairport Central School District recognizes that social media platforms are a primary source of news and information to the public. The District uses social media to communicate, inform and celebrate students, staff and District achievements and to promote transparency. However, the purpose of the District’s official social media channels must be reflected in the presentation and use of those platforms. The District will no longer use social media comment sections to receive feedback from the public, but instead will direct and encourage community members to use alternative methods to connect directly with District officials. As of July 1,2026, community members will no longer be able to leave comments on new posts shared by the official District social media platforms. Here are just some of the ways to connect with District administration and the Board of Education:
- Visit the Board of Education website at fairport.org/boe to contact a Board member
- Email the District at to be directed to the appropriate point of contact
- Contact District Office by phone at (585) 421-2000
- Write to the Board of Education President at 38 West Church Street, Fairport, NY 14450

📣 Student voice! 📣

Members of the Board of Education sat down with FHS students to check in on how the year is going so far! Our students gave their thoughts on the change in school start times, what activities make them feel connected to their peers and what kind of electives they would like to see offered at the school.

Thank you to all the students who participated in a roundtable discussion and who brought Board members on a tour of the school!
