🚑❤️ Learning CPR, Learning EMS! ❤️🚑

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to spend some time with the Scouts and give them a hands-on look at what EMS is all about!

Our crew demonstrated CPR, when CPR is necessary, and how those lifesaving skills can make a difference in an emergency. The Scouts also got a tour of one of our ambulances and learned about the equipment and medical supplies we carry—and how those tools may be used when we respond to a 911 call. 🚨

Heather also took some time to share her personal EMS journey with the Scouts—what inspired her to enter the profession, where she started, how long she’s been serving, and where that journey has taken her today. It was a great opportunity for the Scouts to see that EMS isn’t just a job—it’s a career built on service, compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to helping others. ❤️

We are always excited for opportunities to educate our community and encourage the next generation of potential first responders!

A big THANK YOU to our local Scouts for spending some time with us! We hope you had as much fun learning about EMS as we did sharing it with you! 👏🚑

Who knows…we may have met a few future EMTs yesterday! 😉

As we wrap up EMS week, today we recognize the crew behind the scenes — our Management Team.

Often unseen, but never unnoticed, they are the ones who help keep everything moving day in and day out. From Medical Direction to our Office Assistant, and everyone in between, they work tirelessly to keep the lights on, the wheels rolling, and our agency operating smoothly.

They handle everything from grants and reports to maintaining compliance with state requirements, keeping employee credentials current, managing equipment, and ensuring our vehicles and buildings stay in tip-top shape.

So many of the tasks they complete happen quietly in the background and often go unnoticed, but they are essential to the success of our service .

Thank you to our Management Team for your dedication and hard work. We appreciate everything you do.

Today’s EMS Week spotlight: Paramedics 🚑

Paramedics are highly trained medical professionals who provide advanced life-saving care in some of the most critical moments people may ever face. From advanced airway management and cardiac monitoring to medication administration and complex medical interventions, they bring knowledge, skill, and calm under pressure to every call. They make difficult decisions in stressful situations while continuing to serve with professionalism, dedication, and heart.

We are grateful for the commitment, leadership, and sacrifice our Paramedics show every single day. Thank you for all you do for our patients, our agency, and our community.

Happy EMS Week to our incredible Paramedics!

Today’s EMS Spotlight: AEMTs & I-85s 🚑

Today we recognize our Advanced EMTs and Intermediate 85s — providers who bring an advanced level of care and skill to our patients and communities every day.

AEMTs and I-85s bridge the gap between basic and paramedic-level care by providing and performing pre-hospital care to our patients. Their knowledge, quick thinking, and ability to remain calm under pressure make a tremendous difference in patient outcomes.

We are incredibly grateful for their commitment, hard work, and the care they provide each and every day. Thank you for everything you do for our patients, our agency, and our communities. 🚑
