Fairview Police Department would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Jackie Frazier.

Jackie was a huge part of the Fairview Police Department beginning at the end of the 60s and working into the 70s and 80s, including serving as Assistant Chief. His service to our town will not be forgotten.

Jackie continued to be a friend of the PD over the years stopping in to say hi, or just calling to let us know he was thinking of us. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

🏫 SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW! 📚

We know there is a lot of excitement about the first day of school tomorrow. Although, we have a sneaking suspicion some parents may be a little more excited than the kids!

From our littlest Pre-K students to the senior class, we know our kids are in great hands with Fairview Public Schools.

With everyone getting back into the routine, we want to share Cornelson Elementary’s expectations for parent drop-off and remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and give yourself a little extra time tomorrow morning.

🚸 A few school-zone reminders:
• Obey posted school-zone speed limits when active.
• Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
• Speeding fines in designated school zones are doubled.
• When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, STOP.

Tomorrow morning will bring extra traffic, excited kids, nervous parents, buses, and plenty of little feet moving around. Please be patient and pay attention. No destination is important enough to put one of our kids at risk.

We’re excited to see everyone back at school. Here’s to a safe and great school year, Fairview! 💙

📌 Parents, please take a moment to review Cornelson Elementary’s drop-off information.

🚨 IMPORTANT: NEW INFORMATION FOR CES FAMILIES 🚨

There will be NO side-gate or parking-lot pickup/drop-off at CES.

Our number one priority is the safety of our students and staff. Having one designated pickup and drop-off line will allow us to maximize safety, keep traffic moving efficiently, and provide a safer environment for everyone at CES.

We know this may be different from what some families are accustomed to, and we appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work together to keep our students and staff safe. 🧡🖤

Thank you for helping us make safety the priority!

A big THANK YOU to these two amazing Girl Scouts from Troop 726, Cheyenne and Serenity!

They stopped by the Fairview Police Department this morning and generously donated three boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to our officers and staff. We truly appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness!

Now, if you happen to see one of our officers out and about today looking a little sluggish... don't worry, they're okay. They're probably just recovering from an unfortunate case of too many Girl Scout Cookies! 😄🍪

Thank you again, Cheyenne and Serenity, for brightening our day. We appreciate your support and hope you both have an amazing Girl Scout season!

What a great weekend in Fairview!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the Boot Scoot'n Run 5K & Fun Run this morning. It was wonderful to see so many people participating and encouraging one another.

We'd also like to thank everyone who attended the Fairview Wranglers Parade, and especially those who took the time to participate. Your hard work, creativity, and community spirit helped make this year's parade another great success. Events like these remind us why Fairview is such a special place to call home.

Tonight is the FINAL night of the Fairview Wrangler Rodeo! We hope everyone enjoys a fun and memorable evening with family and friends.

As you head out tonight, please remember to plan ahead. If your plans include alcohol, designate a sober driver, arrange a ride, or have someone you trust get you home safely. Making that decision before the evening begins can help ensure everyone gets home safely.

Thank you for making Fairview such a great community. Have a wonderful evening, enjoy the rodeo, and as always, stay safe!
