Small but mighty! πŸ”¬ Our biology students are digging into enzymes this week and learning how these tiny proteins help power the body's most important reactions. We love seeing curiosity in action!

Everything is connected! 🌎🌿
In their Web of Life science unit, our 5th graders have been exploring how every part of our environment links together. They played an engaging game to see what happens when an ecosystem gets out of balance. Then they gathered and combined science ideas to help a community learn ways to protect our environment. πŸ¦‰ Our young scientists are making a difference! βš“

Algebra 2 students are getting hands-on with graph transformations! πŸ“ˆ Working together, they're exploring how changing the numbers in an equation shifts, stretches, and flips a graph, and discovering the patterns for themselves.
Great teamwork and thinking in math class!

Delicious science in 2nd grade! πŸ₯€πŸ§ͺ
Our second graders explored the states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) in the tastiest way possible: with root b**r floats! 🍦 The ice cream was the solid, the root b**r was the liquid, and the fizzy bubbles were the gas. A sweet way to make learning stick! βš“

Our astronomy students had a bright day of discovery.

🧱 Building something great! 🧱
Fall River High School students Connor and Colton took on a brand new event this year, the Spec Mix 500 in Fond du Lac! This regional masonry competition sends its winner on to nationals in Las Vegas, and our Pirates earned 2nd place out of 7 teams! πŸ†
The event was full of vendors with hands-on booths, and it sparked real interest in the trades for both students. It may even be the start of a career after high school. πŸ”¨
The winning mason laid 698 bricks in one hour! 😲 He’s also a two-time national champion. That’s what it looks like when hard work and skill come together.
Congratulations, Connor and Colton! We’re so proud of you! πŸ‘
