CCMS students are putting their skills into action!

CTE students put their professional communication skills to the test with mock job interviews, practicing how to answer interview questions and building confidence for future career opportunities.

In Art 3, students are taking the lead! 🎨 Students are creating their own projects, writing professional-style proposals, managing their time, and bringing their ideas from concept to completion.

CCMS also celebrated students who achieved perfect attendance this month with a sweet surprise! 🍩 Students who showed up every day earned a free donut as a reward for their commitment.

From preparing for future careers to taking ownership of their learning and showing up every day, CCMS students are making it count! 💚

🍩 WE DO NUT HAVE WORDS FOR HOW PROUD WE ARE! 🎉
Huge congratulations to the 358 students who earned perfect attendance from September 14th to September 30th! Showing up every day pays off—and this morning, it paid off in delicious donuts! 😋✨
A massive shout-out to the amazing team that made this celebration happen:
🛒 Walmart for making the sweet treats! 34 dozen!!!
📋 Our Office Secretaries for meticulously checking (and double-checking!) the attendance records.
🍩 Our Counselors for serving up smiles and donuts bright and early.

CCMS students and their families walked the halls tonight visiting teachers, greeting friends, checking out the book fair and grabbing some popcorn at our Open House. It was great to see everyone out tonight at 650 S. Maine.

CCMS Open House is September 23rd from 5:30-7pm. Stop by the Girls Basketball Game as they take on Dayton before visiting classrooms. New Student ID's will be available to pick up at our Open House. And check out our Book Fair in the library.

Another week of learning and growing at CCMS! 💚

🎶 Lucas Koenig’s band students have been putting in the practice, fine-tuning their instruments, and working together to turn individual notes into music.

📚 Kristina Langguth’s students have been strengthening their reading comprehension and fluency skills while building confidence with every page.

📐 In Erika Davenport’s math class, students have been exploring nets and surface area and learning how 2D shapes come together to create 3D figures.

From music and reading to math, CCMS students are putting their skills into action across campus! 🌊

Our CCMS Cross Country Team hit the ground running at Silver Stage today. Our student athletes brought the Grit and Determination to the course today and did an amazing job!
