After decades of service, Clerk of the Senate Susan Schaar is retiring. The Virginia Senate runs on her knowledge, her steadiness, and her grace.

Thank you, Madam Clerk, the institution won't be the same without you.

Bitter sweet morning today in Richmond as our Clerk, Susan Schaar, announced her retirement this morning after 52 years of service to the Senate of Virginia. She's a Virginia treasure.

I am incredibly thankful that this teen cyclist's injurnies are not life threatening.

Every driver, cyclist, and pedestrian in Fairfax County needs to be mindful of safety at all times, on both roads and sidewalks.

🚲 UPDATED: Teen on e-bike injured in crash near McLean High School

A 15-year-old girl riding an electric bicycle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle near McLean High School on Monday morning. The driver remained at the scene and was cited for reckless driving, according to Fairfax County police.

Instead of bringing down tariffs or ending their illegal war on Iran, the Trump administration tore down the trees in a much loved public park visited by Virginians every day.

The continued disregard for courts and the law is aided by the Supreme Court looking the other way.

In 21 days, we can elect a Congress that will fight back.

The Trump administration says the tree removal has nothing to do with the president’s plan to renovate the park into a championship-level golf course.

It was an honor to be a part of the 250th Anniversary of the first General Assembly session in Williamsburg, Virginia this afternoon.

Democracy in America was born in this building. Gathering here today, we are reminded of the sacrifices made by those who came before us, and the work that remains before us to live up to the ideals that inspired them.

Thank you to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for hosting the members of the legislature in the Colonial Capitol for this special ceremony.

Virginians have had it with high costs, fuel surcharges, and ever increasing CO2 emissions.

Six years after we passed the VCEA, Virginia is on target for a carbon-free electric grid by 2045.

Clean, affordable energy is the future. Get used to it.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
