Our next Faculty Feature is showcasing Ms. Hoffman! Ms. Hoffman joined the 8th grade Civics team 3 years ago, and we're so happy to have her! She sponsors SCA and is always ready to jump in and create an amazing event or spirit week for our Longfellow community. Students say Ms. Hoffman is very organized and teaches in a way that's easy to understand. They also say she's super nice. Thank you for all you do, Ms. Hoffman! Last week, 7th grade science students attended the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE), run by faculty and students from George Mason University. It was held at Burke Lake, where LMS students were able to capture macroinvertebrates, assess water quality, and perform other tests that help determine human impact on the environment.
