Thank You for Making the Freedom Resource Fair a Success!

We want to give a huge thank you to all of the vendors, organizations, and community partners who joined us and shared their time, resources, and expertise with our community.

We couldn’t have done it without you!

And to everyone who attended, explored the booths, entered the door prizes, grabbed some food, and connected with local resources, thank you for being there! 🎉

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to learn, connect, and build stronger community connections.

We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make our second annual Freedom Resource Fair possible. 💙

This Week’s Event Pick: Freedom Resource Fair 💙

Looking for local resources, services, and organizations that support people with disabilities? The Freedom Resource Fair is a great opportunity to connect with organizations from around North Dakota and Minnesota and learn more about what’s available in our community.

The fair is FREE and open to the public, with resources for all ages, door prize drawings, Bingo cards to help guide your experience, and Jazzy’s Food Truck on site!

💙 Employee Spotlight: Joyce!

We’re excited to introduce you to Joyce, one of our Independent Living Advocates at Freedom Resource Center!

Joyce has been part of Freedom's team for 20 years, and her lived experience and passion for supporting people with disabilities are an important part of the work she does every day. She works alongside consumers to help them explore options, make their own decisions, and advocate for what they want and need.

One of the things Joyce loves most about her role is that no two days are the same. From helping young adults with Driver’s Permit training to working with consumers at school or work, collaborating with community partners, and connecting people with resources, her days can take many different directions.

We’re grateful to have Joyce as part of our team and for the perspective, empathy, and dedication she brings to Freedom Resource Center every day! 💙

From walking through the doors as a new employee to leading Freedom Resource Center today, Angie shares what has stayed at the heart of Freedom through the years: people, community, independence, accessibility, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

As Freedom continues to grow and evolve, our mission remains the same: supporting people with disabilities, connecting people to resources, and building stronger, more inclusive communities.
