Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Latinas Unidas had a great time meeting with Union Parish Library to plan some fun upcoming activities—and we got to check out their beautiful Hispanic Heritage Month display!

We are SO proud of our own Ivonne Reyes, who helped create some of the window paintings inspired by the books of Mexican-American author and illustrator Duncan Tonatiuh. How special to see her talent featured in such a beautiful celebration of our culture!

Thank you, Union Parish Library and Director Stephanie Herrmann, for celebrating our stories, our heroes, and our heritage!
