Thank You, Union Parish Chamber of Commerce!

A special thank you to Union Parish Chamber of Commerce President Danielle Harkins for organizing the Meet the Candidates Night!

The Union Parish Police Jury also had the opportunity to present a brief informational talk regarding the upcoming November 3rd replacement tax proposition.

Jurors Glenn Hutto, Mike Holley, Nathan Pilgreen, and Russell Wade attended the event and enjoyed visiting with residents, answering questions, and discussing the proposed replacement tax.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to attend, ask questions, and learn more about the issues affecting Union Parish.

Thank you to the Chamber for providing this opportunity for open communication and community involvement!

"I am a lifelong resident of Union parish and I made a career with our police jury for over thirty years. I have seen the good and the bad in regard to our roads and this newly structured tax plan that we have created is much more fair and balanced. It will spread much needed relief to our citizens much quicker than in years past. I urge you to support this new direction and let us begin to make a difference for everyone."
Mike Holley, Police Juror
