Allaire Village Auxiliary Our group is a dedicated group of volunteers that is a service organization to Allaire Village, Inc. and have been in existence since 1961.

The Allaire Village Auxiliary is an arm of the Board of Trustees of the corporation known as Allaire Village, Inc. Our purpose is to help raise funds for the continuation of the efforts of Allaire Village, Inc. to restore, maintain and preserve The Historic Village at Allaire; to support its efforts to educate school children and the general public about 1800s life during the years of James P. Allaire, the industrialist.

This past October 10th, Brookdale Community College hosted the 31st Monmouth County Archives and History Day event showcasing 50 historical organizations and exhibits. The Trustee and President of the Board for The Historic Village at Allaire, Ellie Eith, was in attendance at the booth to highlight Allaire's contributions to Monmouth's history, and ongoing endeavors to preserve its history. Ms. Eith is also the current President of the Allaire Village Auxiliary's Executive Board. The Auxiliary thanks you for your dedication to our service organization and for presenting a wonderful display.

The Allaire Village Auxiliary is the volunteer service organization to our parent corporation, Allaire Village, Inc. We provide necessary support to The Historic Village at Allaire whenever we have a scheduled event or program taking place on site at the Village. That being said, our membership has a love of history not only for our Village but for history in general. Our program chairperson, Joe Ercolino, occasionally sets up various offsite places for us to visit. The gem we just visited is local, one town away in Farmingdale known as the Wainright House. Virginia Woolley is the host of this private historical site. Joe provided some lovely photos of our adventure. Wonderful information provided by the docents. Visit there if you get a chance. Enjoy!

Here we are 2026! Rocky start as our Installation Luncheon scheduled, for that infamous stormy Monday, Jan. 26th was postponed until Wed. Feb. 4th at the Spring Lake Manor. Spring Lake Manor has always been a super host and delighted us with all of their offerings. Please welcome for 2026: Ellie E., President and Treasurer; Ann K., our Secretary(for life!) :) ; Deb McN., 2nd Vice President; and Linda C., 1st Vice President. The next two, Jean O. and Joe E. were recipients of purple roses to honor their 15 years of service to the Auxiliary and have now been bestowed 'life membership' status. Congratulations to all. We were honored to have as our guest speaker Hance Sitkus, Director in charge of the day to day operations at Allaire Village. Hance gave a wonderful talk about the history and importance of the on-site General Store. Check out The Historic Village at Allaire website. The calendar of events, including the Flea Market schedule, is online now. Many events will celebrate this country's 250th birthday!! We look forward as the volunteer service organization to Allaire Village in helping out throughout this special year.

Every year the Village Auxiliary helps to decorate for the upcoming Christmas season. This year 10 of our members made 38 swags to adorn various buildings/signs. It's a labor of love!! Happy Holidays everyone!
