Due to the rain Firefighters will be handing out candy at the fire station to give everyone a dry place to come get candy!!! Hope to see you there.

This week, Farmington firefighters taught our K through 3rd grade students what to do in case of a fire!
Take a few minutes this weekend to practice your family's fire escape plan. Make sure everyone knows two ways out and where to meet outside.

The Farmington Fire Department conducted our annual company drills today. Crews were challenged with multiple scenarios that simulated both live fire and technical rescue situations. Thank you to Fayetteville, Johnson, and Centerton Fire Departments for providing evaluators, and Central EMS for providing medical standby.

🔥 BURN BAN LIFTED

Washington County Arkansas is lifting the current burn ban effective today.

While recent conditions have improved, we will continue to closely monitor weather and wildfire conditions over the next 10 days. If conditions become unfavorable or the risk of wildfire increases, the burn ban may need to be reinstated.

Residents are reminded to burn responsibly, follow all applicable regulations, and always consider current weather conditions before burning.

Please stay vigilant and help us keep Washington County safe.

As always we will continue to work with Washington County Department of Emergency Management and our rural fire departments to monitor risk.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call.

This morning 3 of our own participated in a stair climb on the university football field to remember all of those lost on that tragic day.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
