Grateful for a Memorial Day spent with my wife, kids, their friends, my mom, my sister, and family around the grill enjoying good food and good company. Even with some important people missing, it was still a reminder of how thankful I am for the people God has placed in my life. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øā¤ļø

Spent the weekend touring Charleston with my daughter ā¤ļø

Itā€™s just easy with herā€¦same sense of humor, same attention span, same sarcasmā€¦ and somehow we find the most absurd, silly stuff (that weā€™d never say to anyone else) absolutely hilarious šŸ˜„

I love her light-spirited energy and how she makes even the smallest moments the best ones.

In marriage, itā€™s rarely the big betrayals that break trustā€¦itā€™s the little promises left undone. One sentence like, ā€œDonā€™t worry, Iā€™ll do itā€ can quietly disappointā€¦ even something as small as taking the chicken out of the freezer.
