Upon arrival, crews located a black SUV approximately 10 to 20 feet down a steep, rocky embankment with two occupants trapped inside.

Crews used specialized rescue equipment, including a Stokes basket and a rope-assisted hauling system, to safely move the occupant up the steep embankment.
Farmington Fire & Rescue would like to recognize and thank the bystanders who stopped and provided assistance before emergency personnel arrived.
