🚨Re-development Update - Farmingville🚨

After many years of discussions and alterations, I am proud to announce the approval of a re-development plan for Triangle Park in Farmingville at todays meeting of the Planning Board. While all journeys begin with small steps, this is a big step for the Farmingville community to help establish a downtown for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Once again, Trunk or Treat at the Centereach Pool proves to be one of the best days of the year. The amount of great and creative costumes I saw was amazing!

Thank you to the Middle Country Youth Civic Association for putting this together for the community and growing it to be one of the biggest in the Town. I hope everyone enjoyed the candy and has already began costume preparations for next year.

Shoutout to Top “Clerk” Gun: Brookhaven Town Clerk Kevin J. LaValle and Legislator Nicholas Caracappa for once again joining in on the day.

♻️ Brookhaven Recycling Event♻️

History was made today!

At the Middle Country Public Library we had 710 cars show up to shred paper, recycle electronic waste, and turn in unused / expired medication. This number breaks the all time record across the town and it is all thanks to our awesome residents.

Thank you to our awesome MCPL partners for hosting, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, our wonderful sponsors, and to our great RSMM department.

If you missed it, there are still two more events this year…

October 24th - Setauket Fire Dept on Nicolls rd
November 7th - South Country Public Library on Station Rd

I would like to put out a reminder to the champions of the Town of Brookhaven, District 3, that this weekend is our second and final Special Recycling Event of the year. We as the back-to-back champions have a tall task ahead of us, to break our own record, but I believe it is possible. Come stop by the Middle Country Public Library, Centereach location, this Saturday to recycle any paper, E-waste, or expired medication you may have. I will be there for the entire event, and I look forward to seeing all of the fellow champions that stop by!
