Be careful! Village residents are receiving calls in regard to a family member that was either arrested or been hurt in an accident and they are requesting money. Do not send anything and do not call back a number the scammer gives you. Instead, lookup the number yourself and verify that someone is in need of help.

In one case, a resident received a call that a relative was hurt and it was the Toledo Police Department. A number called went to someone in in Texas.

Another call was from someone saying they were a grandson. When verified it was found to be false also.

If you were at Fayette Sunoco this last Saturday morning in this truck, you forgot something. Please visit the store or call the Fayette Police Dept at 419-237-2341. These are the best pictures we could get. The mower on the trailer appears to be a John Deere zero turn mower.
