This disgusting, racist man has no place in our legislature.

Springdale will reelect Diana for Arkansas.

The circled statement is on my opponent’s website.

You deserve a State Rep who values Springdale’s immigrant community — not one who makes out-of-touch statements like this. Springdale speaks more than 70 languages. 40% of our school district is learning English as their second language.

I’m wondering: would that statement be on his website, if he weren’t running in THE MOST diverse State House district in Arkansas?

Immigrants come to America, because they have a dream of a better life for their families and because they believe in us. It’s a shame they encounter this level of disrespect.

Immigration is an economic engine, generating billions of dollars for Arkansas annually. Immigrants and asylum seekers work jobs that you and I don’t want. Immigrants and asylum seekers bring difference and beauty. Immigration is as American as Apple Pie and Taco Tuesday.

Nobody here wants America “invaded,” and my opponent knows immigration has been very good for Arkansas. My immigrant grandparents would be appalled by my opponent’s comments.

Springdale — on Election Day (Nov 3rd), let’s reject the disrespect and division, and let’s make a loud statement about the beautifully diverse community we are.

Today's canvassing fit felt very Hallie Shoffner coded.

Fun things from this evening’s sesh:

1) I made friends with TWO dogs named Finley
2) One man took my number so his wife could invite me to the next neighborhood Bunco game.
3) I met a social worker who has worked with local women to help them heal and reintegrate into our communities after incarceration. She is passionate about getting women the services they need and appalled at Washington County's decision to close our women's minimal security correctional facility that previously provided services like drug court, job placement, and counseling.
4) I met a man who reminisced about the days when lake Wedington was a central part of his life. He even met his wife there when they were in high school!
5) The same neighbor from above was a conservative who is "appalled by the state of our government" and would vote for a dem president if a 'good one' ran. I assured him that no matter what happened at the top, our strong neighborhoods and communities would survive anything.
6) Lastly, I really adore the woman who called me Honey and then told me she would love to talk but the Friday evening w**e was hitting so she wasn't in the best headspace to talk policy after she had started winding down for the evening on her back patio. Happy Friday, ma'am.

Doorknocking in our competitive districts is THE BEST WAY to channel the frustration and anger know we’re all feeling at our political system.

It’s so helpful to the campaigns and is a productive way to spend your time and energy.

Get plugged in, there are plenty of competitive races in Benton Co and Washington Co to choose from.
