To close out Supported Employment Month, we're celebrating every client who's clocking in across Northwest Arkansas, where they work, and how long they've been making it happen.

Some of these names are brand new to the team this year. Some have been showing up for decades. Every single one of them earned their spot on this list with hard work, grit, and a whole lot of heart.

October isn't just Supported Employment Month here at Life Styles, it's also National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! And we have one client whose dedication to his work says it all.

Meet Jeff! Jeff started working as a custodian at the Walton Arts Center in 2005, and more than 20 years later, his reliability, hard work, and commitment are still making a lasting impact.

His boss, Mary, says it best:
"If only we had 10 more of Jeff, we'd be in good shape."

Jeff's story is a reminder of what NDEAM is all about: recognizing the contributions of workers with disabilities and creating opportunities for everyone to build meaningful careers.

We'll say it plainly: we have an incredible team of DSPs right now. 🙌

They walk into work every day ready to adapt, because no two days with our clients ever look the same. They lean on real training and leadership support to do the job well, and they still find room to bring their own personality and creativity into the work.

DSP Appreciation Month is really just an excuse to say what we already know: this team is special, and we don't take a single one of them for granted.

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs September 15 through October 15, and the timing is intentional. Several Latin American countries celebrate independence in that exact window, so the month was built around it.

Here in Northwest Arkansas, that heritage shows up everywhere, in the businesses that built up our towns, the classrooms our clients learn in, and the team members who show up for Life Styles every day.
