This morning, I had the honor of attending the 9/11 memorial service at the Lewis Center in Oak Hill. It was a beautiful and moving service centered around faith, prayer, Jesus, and the unity that brings us together as one nation under God. 🇺🇸🙏

Greg Boggs did a wonderful job with the singing, and Judge Sam Fox for Fayette County gave a great speech that brought special meaning to the service.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the tremendous loss our country suffered on that tragic day. We remember the innocent lives that were taken, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the bravery and sacrifice shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We are also incredibly thankful for our first responders and the men and women of our military who have served and sacrificed for our country. May we never take their service for granted.

I’m thankful for everyone who helped make today’s memorial service possible and gave our community an opportunity to come together to remember, reflect, and pray.

Today, let us pray for our country, remember those we lost 25 years ago, and never forget the faith, courage, and unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.

God bless our first responders, God bless our military, and God bless America. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
