Board of Supervisors Chairman Kim Koutsouradis presented checks to our First Responders at the Wednesday, 10/28 Board of Supervisors Meeting. The money raised was from Community Day - the sale of banners & the Cow Chip BINGO.

Road Closure Notice

PECO Utility Restoration to close Brownsville Road weeknights.

PennDOT announced that PECO Energy will perform utility restoration on Brownsville Road in Bensalem and Lower Southampton Townships beginning on Monday, November 2.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

Monday, 11/2 through Friday, 11/20 from 8 PM to 5 AM the following morning, Brownsville Road will be closed and detoured weeknights between Old Street Road and Bristol Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Old Street Road, Street Road, Bridgetown Pike, and Elmwood Avenue or Bristol Road.

Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather-dependent.

Please use alternate routes and expect delays. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.

The Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors will hold its meeting on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Township Administration Building, 1500 Desire Avenue. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Township Cable Channel will broadcast the meeting live.
