Harvest of the Month: Blueberries! This month we're celebrating blueberries! These sweet, juicy berries are packed with flavor and can be enjoyed fresh, frozen, or added to favorite recipes. Blueberries make a delicious snack and are perfect in smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes, and salads. Encourage your child to try the blueberries in our cafeteria menu this month.

Blueberries may be small, but they're a tasty addition to a healthy eating pattern. Their naturally sweet flavor makes them a popular fruit choice for children and adults alike. Throughout the month, students will have opportunities to learn about blueberries and sample them in school meals. We encourage families to continue the learning at home by including blueberries in snacks and meals.
