Voting in Federal Way, Des Moines and Milton this year? Take a hard look at Rep. Kristine Reeves first.
Reeves was the prime sponsor of a bill to put abortion pills at colleges (HB 2535). On top of that, Reeves signed on to bills to make abortion-pill handouts easier (HB 2182) and protect abortion coverage (HB 1286), plus the abortion shield law (HB 1469).
Families here believe every life is worth protecting, born and unborn.
That's why Rep. Reeves is rated F by Washington Right to Life.

This weekend, our family had a chance to partake in a little “fall festivities” thanks to our local farmers.

I get asked a lot “why would a South King County Suburban Mom care about agriculture and natural resources?”

• Because I care about feeding every Washingtonian and we can’t do that without sustainable agriculture.

• Because our food banks rely on farmers to help fill their pantries, local grocers depend on a reliable supply chain from local producers & processors, and we all rely on them to feed our communities.

• Because I grew up in EWA and saw how hard my neighbors worked to put food on their table & ours.

• Because ag isn’t something that happens on the other side of the state, it’s something happening at places like Carpinitos Brothers right in our backyard, helping create connection to our food, to each other, and supporting our local economy!

Just a few reasons I care about where our food comes from, how we keep it viable & sustainable, and why I am proud to serve as your House Ag & Natural Resources Chair!

Don’t want to read? Skip to our Cheat Sheet! It’s that time of year again, time for a cabal of vulgar Marxists in a hot conference room on Capitol Hill to handpick the government. Just kidding. We fixed the AC in the conference room. Why go through the trouble of voting? A city council seat […...

As economic challenges continue to grow across our communities, remembering that small businesses are drivers of the local economy is key to the work we must do to ensure working families have the jobs and resources needed to live, work, and play in South King County.

We are no longer a “company town” that can rely on one or two businesses to drive our success. That’s why I’ve worked, in partnership with the Greater Federal Way Chamber to drill down on the data that helps us drive a plan for economic success.

As your State Representative, I will keep working with the Federal Way Public Schools, Auburn School District, Highline College and Green River Community College, who educate the talent; key industry sector leaders in healthcare, logistics, and construction to recruit and grow industry; and our regulators to remove barriers to building a stronger local economy that brings jobs and builds generational wealth through small business entrepreneurship.

Thank you to the Chamber for hosting this forum and providing a space to talk about the work it takes to build an economy that works for working families!

🚨 RUMOR PREVENTION 🚨

I wanted you to hear directly from me:

I will NOT be able to attend this forum.

We have scheduled a legislative AgNR committee tour for that day in EWA and it has been in the works for months.

As the Chair of the House Agriculture and Natural Resources (AgNR) committee, I will be busy at work meeting with farmers and others trying to address the staggering loss of family farms, working to understand what the state may be able to do to help keep farmers in in the business of feeding families, and trying to understand innovations that could support our shared goals.

Wishing these folks a successful event.

📣 FEDERAL WAY LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATE FORUM — YOU’RE INVITED!

Election Day is approaching, and voters deserve an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates asking to represent our community in Olympia.

With our local newspaper not hosting its traditional candidate forum this election year, Stand Up Federal Way is stepping forward to provide that opportunity.

Join us Tuesday, October 13 at Twin Lakes Country Club for a community candidate forum featuring candidates for the 30th Legislative District.

Candidates will answer questions on a variety of Washington State policy issues, with particular attention to the issues affecting our residents, families, schools, businesses, and communities right here in the 30th District.

This is a forum, not a debate. Candidates will receive the same questions, time limits, and opportunity to share their positions directly with voters.

📅 Tuesday, October 13, 2026
🚪 Doors open at 6:00 PM
📍 Twin Lakes Country Club — Federal Way

Come informed. Bring a friend. Hear directly from the candidates and decide for yourself who you want representing our community in Olympia.

Please share and help us get the word out!

These initiatives will be on your ballot in just a few weeks.

Please join me in voting NO to:
• protect public education funding & our social safety net, (I-645)
• protect our daughters from invasive exams to play sports, (I-638) and
• uphold parents rights in public schools (I-001)!

Vote NO this November, then return your ballot to a ballot box near you!

🗳️ This November, Washington voters will vote on three initiatives.

🟪 I-645, which would repeal the ‘millionaires’ tax’ passed by the WA Legislature. WA has one of the most regressive tax structures in the nation. Our highest earner's pay as little as 3% of their income in WA state taxes -- while our lowest pay as much as 13% We oppose I-645 because the ‘millionaires’ tax’ begins to correct this imbalance and affects less than 1% of the population: Washingtonians who take home more than $1 million a year.

🟪 I-638 & I-001, which would directly affect kids, families, and public schools across our state. We believe both measures are flawed and would cause unintended harm to the young people they claim to help.

The LWVWA opposes all three initiatives and urges a "NO" vote. Learn more about why the League opposes these measures ➡️ lwvwa.org
