Free class!

The York County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting registrations for our upcoming Refuse to be a Victim class in November. This seminar is classroom only and will be held on November 7, 2026 from 0830-1230 at 2401 Pleasant Valley Rd York, PA 17402. Please use the link below to register. The seating is limited to 75 students.

Each student will receive a student handbook as well as a certificate of completion at the end.

This seminar is FREE to anyone, ages 16 and up. Feel free to dress comfortable and you may also bring snacks and drinks with you. It is a very informal and confidential setting for you to learn how to add layers of safety to your daily lives.

This class is being taught by 3 Deputy Sheriff's.

First responders, tow operators and highway workers put their lives on the line every day to protect ours. Give them the space they need to go home safe.

UPDATE- The horses were located, and returned to their owner.

NORTH HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP- Horses at large.

USE CAUTION in the area of Blymire Hollow Road,Shangri-La Road, Westview Drive, Hess Road, and Clark Road.

On 10/16/2026, our officers received information from a local farmer on Blymire Hollow Road near Westview Drive that their four horses are missing and further believes the horses walked off of the property under their own free will.

DRIVERS- Please use CAUTION in the area.

Please do not chase.
