🗓️ REMINDER:

There will be a quarterly status hearing on
Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom 3-North to provide the
parties and the Monitor with an opportunity to update the Court on the status of
implementation of the Consent Decree.

Members of the public, in addition to the Monitor and counsel for the parties, will be allowed to speak at the hearing. Any members of the public who wish to speak at the hearing may do so by appearing at the courtroom between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m. on the day of the hearing to register.

Statements by members of the
public will be taken in the order the person signed up and will be limited to five
minutes each.

All persons speaking must speak from the lectern, state their names, and direct their comments to the Court

In addition, the public will be able to listen to the hearing on the court’s YouTube channel. Members of the public may access the court’s YouTube channel at
https://www.youtube.com/c/USCourtsMOED.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri is headquartered in St. Louis and serves the region, hearing criminal and civil cases involving federal law.

Due to a death in his family, Chief Doyle was unable to attend today’s luncheon (hosted by ASIS) where officer Travis “TJ” Brown was recognized but the love in the room for TJ and the Chief was quite obvious. It was a wonderful celebration and recognition program!

Thank you to Ms. April Johnson, Board President of the Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation and City of Ferguson’s own LaVetta London-Pearson for partnering with your FPD to distribute these signature purple lightbulbs at council tonight. Residents are urged to “paint the city purple” by installing and turning on the lights throughout October to support domestic violence awareness.

The Ferguson Police Department is proud to support Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation as they host several events this month to educate the public about domestic violence and provide support for survivors.

The organization’s Founder and CEO, Eddie Ross, is a huge supporter of the Ferguson Police Department! Chief Doyle had an opportunity to chat with Mr. Ross at a recent National Night Out event and learned even more about the services provided by this amazing organization.
