Had a great time Monday night volunteering as emcee for the 4th Annual Bourbon & Bags, benefiting the Fernandina Beach High School lacrosse program! 🥍🏴‍☠️

It was a packed house and a really fun crowd. Always happy to grab a microphone for a good cause and especially glad to support our local students and programs here in Fernandina Beach.

Thanks to everyone who put the event together and everyone who came out to support FBHS Lacrosse!

Go Pirates!

Last Sunday, Bradley had the honor of serving as auctioneer for Mulligans for the Mission at TPC Sawgrass, benefiting Ascension St. Vincent's Mobile Health Outreach Ministry. This incredible program provides more than 10,000 free patient visits annually across five counties, bringing healthcare directly to those who need it most.

It was a great night filled with generosity, energy, and people committed to making a real difference in our community. We are proud to play a small part in helping raise support for such an important mission.

Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, sponsored, and made the event a success. Nights like this remind you how strong Northeast Florida is when people come together.

Last night I had the honor of hosting the U.S. Constitution Scholarship Foundation’s Constitution Bowl for the sixth time.

Students from all four Nassau County high schools, along with a homeschool team, competed in a fast-paced trivia competition focused on the U.S. Constitution, the Founding Fathers, and American history. The event continues to be a great showcase of student knowledge, preparation, and civic engagement.

Congratulations to this year’s champions, the homeschool team, who went back-to-back after winning both the 2025 and 2026 Constitution Bowls.

I’m always proud to be part of an event that encourages young people to learn the principles and history that shaped our country.

My family was proud to attend the opening of the waterfront park, while I was on the city commission the creation of this park was one of my top priorities. It is important to me that our families have a place to gather and enjoy the working waterfront that makes Fernandina special.

As your mayor, I was proud to get this project designed, approved and fully funded with impact fees. With it opening this past weekend it was an honor to see it all come together.

Thanks to the City Staff and the current commission for finishing the job.

𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. I warned this day would come. Paid parking won’t just hurt businesses, it will damage our city’s character and push locals out of downtown. This is greedy and dishonest government.

It’s dishonest because two commissioners pushing for this campaigned against it. While that was harder to see then, it’s clear now. I have included their campaign promises below.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽: if you voted for one of these commissioners believing they opposed paid parking, 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 and tell them to honor their promises.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁, 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I want to thank the citizens who are leading this effort. While the petition won’t stop the vote tonight, it will show the strength of those against paid parking. I have included the list of upcoming events where you can add your name!

We must stop this and put Fernandina first.
