Fernandina Beach Main Street Fernandina Beach Main Street is a Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting economic vitality, preservation and community events.

A healthy vibrant town builds its future on the past. The program promotes sensible, sustained economic growth and enhancements based on local assets, especially historic resources and buildings. Being a Florida Main Street will enable us to maintain a focus on downtown to create greater economic stability, revitalization, sustainability, vitality, quality of life and civic pride. Fernandina Beach Main Street is a partnership between the City of Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce and the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau. Florida Main Street is a part of the National Main Street Center through the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Yesterday, Fernandina Beach Main Street had the pleasure of joining a nonprofit roundtable!
We appreciated the opportunity to connect with fellow local nonprofit organizations. There are many wonderful organizations in our community that deserve endless support.

We extend our gratitude to the Nassau County Chamber of Commerce (Nassau County Chamber of Commerce) for organizing such an impactful event! It is always a pleasure having a great lunch at Story & Song Bookstore Bistro.

We were grateful to be joined by County Commissioner Hupp Huppmann today! As well as City Commissioner-Elect Scott Inglis.

For Talk Trash Tuesday, each month we come together to make a meaningful impact on our community—not only by caring for our shared spaces, but also by building connections with fellow volunteers, local business owners, government officials, and community partners. All Access Main Street is a voluntary certification program created by Fernandina Beach Main Street to help our downtown businesses become more accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for people of all ages and abilities.

Why does it matter? Because small changes can make a BIG difference. Creating a more accessible downtown helps older adults, people with disabilities, families, visitors, and ultimately everyone who experiences our community.

Join us for Talk Trash Tuesday, a fun and meaningful community cleanup where we’ll spend an hour picking up litter while connecting with fellow volunteers, business owners, and community members. This months theme: City Utilities Department. The project team will be on-site to answer questions. We will be holding a scavenger hunt this month!

We will meet in front of the courthouse! We’ll provide gloves, buckets, and trash pickers, just bring yourself and a willingness to help keep our downtown beautiful.
