I’m proud to have the support of the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Guild, Bellingham Police Guild, Lynden Police Guild, and Everson Police Foundation, along with former Sheriff Bill Elfo, former Bellingham Police Chief Flo Simon, and current and retired law enforcement officers throughout Whatcom County.

The three guilds heard from both candidates before making their endorsements. I’m grateful for their confidence in my experience and ability to lead.

In 27 years as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and county civil counsel, I’ve seen how important it is for law enforcement and prosecutors to work well together. That means thorough investigations, sound charging decisions, respect for constitutional rights, and cases that move forward without years of delay.
