A safety update for our FMS and FHS families

Many families have seen or heard about the threatening message found in a student restroom at Ferndale Middle School, and we want you to hear directly from us.

The investigation is ongoing with the Ferndale Police Department. Families and students will see more police officers, security staff and adult supervision at FMS and FHS, and district leaders are meeting with Ferndale Police this week to put additional safety measures in place. We will share those details with families before the date referenced in the message.

If you see or hear something concerning, tell a trusted adult or report it anonymously to OK2SAY at 855-565-2729 or text 652729. Please help us by not sharing rumors or screenshots.

Our students' and staff's safety is our top priority. Thank you for your partnership.
