Ferndale Police Department - Washington

The Ferndale Police Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by yesterday's Coffee with a Cop event.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect with community members, answer questions, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations outside of our everyday interactions. Events like Coffee with a Cop help strengthen relationships, build trust, and foster open communication between law enforcement and the community we serve.

Thank you to Woods Coffee for hosting us and to everyone who joined the conversation. We look forward to more opportunities to connect with our community!

The flags displayed on Main Street this morning are in honor of Patriot Day.

Patriot Day is observed in the United States on September 11th to commemorate the lives of those who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Virginia, and those who perished when the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania.

We will never forget.

The Ferndale Police Department would like to recognize and thank Karen Barlean for her generous donation to our BlueBridge Alliance program.

BlueBridge gives our officers the ability to provide immediate assistance to community members facing difficult circumstances. Donations can help cover basic needs such as food, fuel, transportation, temporary lodging, clothing, and other essential support when it is needed most.

Karen’s generosity helps ensure our officers have another tool to respond with compassion and make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.
