This is a volunteer fire department located at the south end of Heritage Lake in eastern Putnam County, Indiana.

Floyd Fire member Nate Clodfelter will soon begin a new level of community service. He will be shipping out to boot camp for future service to the country under a division of the Department of Homeland Security. Nate has been a regular responder and an asset to the department and community. He will still be a vital part of Floyd Fire when he is home on leave, once his mom stops the hugs & kisses. We wish you the best and couldn't be prouder.
