Yesterday, members participated in our monthly company training, responding to four simulated emergency scenarios, including two motor vehicle crashes with entrapment, a patient pinned by a log pile collapse, and a patient trapped beneath a skid steer's loader lift arm.
These various scenarios challenged members to utilize common extrication principles, adapt to unusual situations and create effective solutions. The training also provided an opportunity for both new and experienced members to sharpen their skills and build proficiency with our rescue and extrication equipment.
Training like this is essential to ensuring our members are prepared to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us.
