On Monday, our Hancock County School Resource Officers had the opportunity to attend Professional Development Day at Liberty-Benton Local Schools!
During the session, our SROs led an open discussion with educators about some of the challenges facing today’s youth right here in Hancock County. Topics included social media, bullying, school threats, va**ng and drug use, mental health, artificial intelligence, and other issues impacting our students and schools.
This was a great opportunity to share our experiences, answer questions, and discuss how law enforcement, school administrators, and teachers can work together to create a safer and more supportive learning environment.
A huge thank you to Liberty-Benton Local Schools for having us and to all the educators who participated in the conversation!
Building relationships, encouraging communication, and keeping our students safe remain our top priorities! 💙
