🆕 NEW THIS YEAR: Following voter approval in November 2025, the Town of Firestone is coordinating with Weld County to conduct the regular municipal election.

📬 Returning your ballot? Please note that Firestone Town Hall is NOT a ballot drop-off location. You can return your ballot at either of these 24-hour drop boxes:

📍 Southwest Weld County Service Center Complex

Join the Firestone Police Department for Halloween Safe Night on Friday, October 23, from 5–8 p.m. at the Firestone Regional Sports Complex!

🍬 And we’re looking for businesses, nonprofits, organizations, and community groups to join the Trunk-or-Treat fun! Decorate your trunk, bring at least $250 worth of candy, and get ready to welcome hundreds of costumed kiddos and their families. 🎃🍭

And there’s a little friendly competition… 👀

🏆 Attendees will vote for their favorite trunk!

The winner will be crowned Best Decorated Trunk and receive a special sponsorship for next year’s Halloween Safe Night!

🌳 FINAL Tree Limb Drop-Off of the Season!🌳

Need to clean up fallen branches or trim your trees? The Town of Firestone Parks & Forestry Divisions have one final FREE monthly tree limb disposal day this year.

📅 Drop-Off Date: October 10

⏰ Time: 7:00–11:00 a.m.

📍 Location: Firestone Maintenance Facility, 7500 WCR 20

✅ Accepted Materials: tree limbs 12 inches in diameter or smaller

❌ Not Accepted: tree stumps, leaves, grass, or other yard waste

🌿 FREE Mulch Available!
Residents can also pick up wood chips created from tree trimmings. These chips are ideal for helping retain moisture around trees and in garden beds. Please bring your own containers and be prepared to load the material yourself.

Town staff will be on-site to direct traffic and assist with unloading tree limbs.

☀️ Summer Hours are over — now we want to hear from you!

This summer, the Town of Firestone piloted an adjusted schedule that closed Town Hall and the Maintenance Facility to the public at 1 p.m. on Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
