Flowers have been there through all the things. I first started preserving when my first was just born three years ago. I strapped him to my chest and did it. And again with my second. And now with my third. The surroundings have changed quite a bit: a tiny CRAMPED bedroom with awful light, to a tiny suite space that was also cramped, and now to my home studio where I can finally breathe. The road leading to now always is a surprise to me because God’s plan is so much different than what we have planned, but flowers have been steadfast. So thankful for a curvy road crafted by God lined with flowers along the way. 🌸🤍

it has been my new obsession finding OLD vintage gold frames and bringing them back to life with new hardware, and sometimes a coat of fresh paint if they are too far gone, and then turning them into works of art! ⭐️💛 Make sure you select “vintage gold” at checkout if you want one of these for your preservation.

A little thought on my mind this morning while I scurry away at random tasks:

With all the commotion of the results of AI and how it will affect our jobs, life, and stake of our civilization… I am thankful for this small little side hustle that allows me to use my HANDS, mind, and creative-ness to create. I also am thankful for a Savior that promises so much more after this life and so much more to look forward to. I don’t worry about AI because I know that He has his hand on what is to come and I already know the ending. ❤️

One of my favorites to this day! Can you believe that when lillies are pressed and dried, the petals turn YUCK brown? Each of these lillies were petal by petal dried, glued back together, and then hand painted with color correction to match the blooms on her big day!
