Fleming County Sheriff

Sometimes the job takes you places you never expected.

One of our deputies arrested a DoorDash driver this evening, leaving an elderly customer waiting on her food. So, I finished the delivery.

Law enforcement is about more than making arrests. It’s also about taking care of people when they need a little help.

Food delivered. Problem solved. 🍔🚔

We were proud to receive 8 AEDs for the Fleming County Sheriff’s Office through a community effort led by the Rotary Club.

A special thank you to Joni Hazelrigg for spearheading this project and putting in the time and effort to make it happen. Her dedication to this project will help put lifesaving equipment in the hands of those who may be first on scene when seconds matter.

Thank you as well to the Rotary Club and every organization, business, and individual who played a part in making this possible. It truly takes a community working together to make things like this happen.

These AEDs will be a valuable addition to our equipment and, hopefully, something we never have to use. But if the need ever arises, having them readily available could make all the difference.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and for continuing to invest in the safety of our community.
