TOMORROW AT 3PM!
Please join us for a special canvass launch in Flemington with Rebecca Bennett as we continue building the grassroots movement to flip NJ-07!

Volunteers will head out into the community to talk with voters about the issues facing our district, share Rebecca’s vision for NJ-07, and help grow support for the campaign. These conversations are one of the most important ways we connect with voters and win elections.

Making connections, communicating and finding common goals with our municipal neighbors is important to find opportunities for shared services. Had some great conversations with Councilman Trent Levitt, and a Raritan Township Committee candidates RachaelandAdam this morning!

Stop by Hunterdon County Democratic Committee headquarters until 4pm to pick up your lawn signs for:

Meet your Democratic candidates for Mayor and Council!
Susan Engelhardt for Mayor
Trent Levitt and Todd Cook for Borough Council

Council Vice-President Susan Engelhardt is running to be the next mayor of Flemington! Susan is a New Jersey native and has lived in Flemington for over twenty-seven years. Prior to serving on council, she served as the Vice-Chair of the Flemington Borough’s Planning Board, where she had been consecutively appointed by four mayors spanning 15 years, and appointed to four master plan and redevelopment committees. Susan holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Savannah College of Art and Design and has worked for thirty years as a Project Manager and Associate with architecture and construction development firms. Her masters studies focused on planning law and regional planning, and she is an accredited sustainable design professional. Her unique background has inspired her to find compromises for responsible development while respecting and sustaining our beautiful National Historic District and addressing environmental issues. Susan looks forward to continuing her work encouraging community engagement, park improvements, grant opportunities, and streamlining Borough regulations. She is humbled to be seeking election to become mayor of Flemington Borough and looking forward to speaking with all her neighbors throughout her campaign.

Council Member Trent Levitt, is running for reëlection to the Flemington Borough Council. He moved to Flemington 10 years ago with his family after graduating from Hunterdon Central. In 2020, he was appointed to the Borough's Environmental Commission, where he continues to serve today. He was also appointed to the Borough's Planning Board that same year, where he served for three years, with one as vice-chair. He ran for election in 2023 and became a member of the Borough Council in 2024. He hopes to continue his work on traffic safety and revitalizing Flemington.

Todd Cook is running for election for Flemington Borough Council. He and his family have lived in the Borough for over 30 years. In that time, he became the one of the longest serving planning board members in Flemington’s history with over 20 years of service, most of them as chair. Todd also volunteers to organize the annual Historic House Tours, where he’s put his talents into showcasing the best Historic Flemington has to offer. In his professional life, Todd was a Senior Vice President of Retail Marketing for a Fortune 100 company and now works in real estate. He’s ready to continue his life of public service to guide Flemington into its bright future.

Susan, Trent, and Todd are excited to earn your vote, hear your thoughts on the future of Flemington, and support our up-ticket candidates, Caitlin Giles-McCormick for County Clerk, Jason Blazakis for Commissioner, and Rebecca Bennett for Congress. We hope you’ll join us at our upcoming events!
