WHAT A FUN NIGHT IN MILLINGTON!

A big thank-you to New Light Consultants, Inc. for inviting FACT to be part of last night's Community Trunk or Treat at Latham Park!

We had such a great time meeting families, seeing all the creative costumes, and of course we had to hand out cookies with the Cookie Monster! It was a wonderful evening filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of Halloween fun.

Events like this give FACT another opportunity to get out into the areas where we meet new families and build connections that can lead to support and resources when they are needed.

New Light Consultants, Inc., thank you again for including FACT and helping us connect with even more families in the Millington community. We appreciate the invitation and look forward to more opportunities to work together!

PARK AND PLAY BROUGHT THE FUN TO MOBILE MONDAY!

A big thank-you to Jacoby from ParkandPlay MobileGaming for joining us at Summerfield Early Childhood Education Center!

We love bringing families together around books, reading, and education, but we also know how important it is for kids to have opportunities to play, explore, and simply have fun.

Park and Play Mobile helped bring that extra excitement to our October 810READS Mobile Monday!

Events like this give kids a chance to enjoy themselves while families connect with educational opportunities and resources throughout Genesee County.

Jacoby, we appreciate you spending the afternoon with us and helping make Mobile Monday a fun experience for our families!

HELPING PARENTS HAVE A VOICE IN THEIR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION!

A big thank-you to Ta'Nesa from the Flint Parent Collaborative, an initiative of The Flint Center for Educational Excellence, for joining us at our October 810READS Mobile Monday at Summerfield Early Childhood Education Center!

The Flint Parent Collaborative is led by local families who want to make a difference in their children's education and community. They help parents connect with schools, share their experiences, and have a stronger voice in decisions that affect their children.

That is an important part of what we believe at FACT, too! Parents and caregivers know their children best, and their voices matter when it comes to education, learning, and finding the right support.

Through 810READS Mobile Monday, we want to encourage a love of reading while introducing families to people and organizations that can help their children succeed.

Thank you to Ta'Nesa and the Flint Parent Collaborative for spending the afternoon with us, meeting families, and sharing another way parents can get involved in their children's education!

LEARNING STARTS LONG BEFORE KINDERGARTEN!

A big thank-you to Killotta from Early On Genesee County for joining us at October's 810READS Mobile Monday!

Early childhood is such an important time for learning and development. From a baby's first sounds and words to those early steps toward communication and independence, every milestone matters.

Early On helps families with infants and toddlers who may need additional developmental support, connecting parents with information and services during those important early years.

We were glad to have Killotta there to share those resources with families and help spread the word about support that is available right here in Genesee County.

Killotta, thank you for being part of Mobile Monday and helping us encourage learning and healthy development from the very beginning!

A SPECIAL THANK-YOU TO MOTHERLY INTERCESSION!

We were glad to welcome Tiffany and Holly from the Motherly Intercession team to our October 810READS Mobile Monday!

Motherly Intercession works with children and families impacted by parental incarceration, helping provide support, encouragement, and educational opportunities during challenging times. Necole stopped by to say hello too!

Their work reminds us that every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and feel supported, no matter what challenges their family may be facing.

That fits right into what we hope to accomplish through 810READS, making books, learning opportunities, and helpful community connections more accessible to families throughout Genesee County.

Ashleigh and the Motherly Intercession team, thank you for spending the afternoon with us and for the work you do for children and families in our community!

HEALTHY SMILES ARE PART OF GROWING UP HEALTHY!

We want to give a special thank-you to Sarah from the Genesee County Health Department for joining our October 810READS Mobile Monday and sharing information about dental health!

Good oral health is an important part of a child's overall health and well-being. Helping families understand dental care and available services can make it easier to build healthy habits early.

We appreciate having community partners who bring different kinds of information to our events. While 810READS focuses on literacy and education, supporting the whole child means helping families find resources for many parts of their lives.

Sarah, thank you for taking the time to meet our families and share another helpful community connection!

HEALTHY FAMILIES AND HEALTHY STARTS!

A big thank-you to Misty and Necole from the Genesee County Health Department's Healthy Start program for joining us at 810READS Mobile Monday!

Helping children get a strong start in life is something we care deeply about at FACT. That includes supporting parents and caregivers with information and resources from pregnancy through the early years of a child's life.

Healthy Start is an important connection for families, providing support and education focused on healthy pregnancies, babies, and parents. Let us know if you are interested in joining any of their programs. We can help with the connection!

We loved having Misty and Necole there to meet families, share information, and be part of an afternoon celebrating children, reading, and learning.

Thank you both for helping us connect Genesee County families with resources that can make a difference from the very beginning!

WELCOME BACK, GENESEE COUNTY FRIEND OF THE COURT!

We were happy to welcome our friends from the Genesee County Friend of the Court back for October's 810READS Mobile Monday!

One of our goals with Mobile Monday is to make it easier for families to connect with organizations they may have questions about but might not always know how to reach.

Having Friend of the Court representatives available gives parents and caregivers a chance to meet the people behind the services, ask questions, and learn more about family-related resources.

While the kids enjoyed books and activities, parents had another chance to make helpful connections right in their community.

Thank you to the Genesee County Friend of the Court team for returning and spending another afternoon with our families. We appreciate your continued involvement!
