Crossover's Christmas and Thanksgiving programs are full for 2026! However, we are still looking for family sponsors! If you are interested in sponsoring a family, please email us at [email protected] or call (810) 234-2479.

If you are still seeking holiday assistance, please check out The Salvation Army Flint Citadel! Sign-ups for their programs begin next week:
-October 28th 9am-3pm
-November 4th 9am-3pm
-November 11th 9am-3pm
-November 18th 9am-3pm

Thanks to our community who continue to show up with such generosity and compassion our clothing closets are well stocked. However, we now need your help to ensure our household essentials can keep up with the needs of our neighbors!

If you’re able to give, we are especially in need of:
-Comforters and Blankets (queen, full and twin sizes)
-Sheet sets (twin size)
- Bigger pots

Our kiddos closet could also use some shoes! We are in need of:
-Boys sizes 1 and 2
-Girl sizes 11-2

Donations can be dropped off at Crossover Outreach (414W. Court St.) during our regular donation hours: Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (limit four bags/boxes per drop-off)

Each year, we help make the Christmas season a little brighter for families who could use some extra support.

You can make a difference by adopting a family for Christmas! Whether you're an individual, a family, a church, or a business, your generosity can help provide Christmas gifts for children and thoughtful surprises for adults, creating meaningful memories and bringing joy to families during the holiday season.

SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN!

Today is the first day to sign up for Crossover's Thanksgiving and Christmas Programs!

If you or your family could use a little extra help this holiday season, we’re here for you. Our goal is to help make the holidays a little brighter for families in our community.

A few important things to know:
*In-person sign-ups ONLY.
*First come, first served. Space is limited and spots will fill up fast!
*Sign-up hours are Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:30 PM
*Must have your MDHHS paperwork showing the kids are in the home with you

We encourage families to come as early as possible, as assistance is limited.

The bank may have been closed but Dort Financial employees were still hard at work today!

We are so thankful for the group of Dort Financial employees who chose to spend their day at Crossover Outreach sorting hats and gloves! Thank you all for using your day of service to help us prepare for the cold months ahead!

Crossover has been nominated for one of the Flint & Genesee Group's Art of Achievement Awards, the Nonprofit Impact Award.

Join us on Nov. 4 at the FIM Capitol Theatre as we celebrate Flint & Genesee’s businesses, leaders, and community. It's going to be a great evening!

It’s almost that time of year!

We’re getting ready for another holiday season at Crossover, and sign-ups for our programs will open soon!

Thanksgiving: Families can receive a meal box filled with all the Thanksgiving staples to help make a special meal at home.

Christmas: Families and children will receive gifts to help bring a little extra joy and excitement to Christmas morning.

📅 Sign-ups begin Tuesday, October 13, in person ONLY, at Crossover Outreach during our normal service hours, 10am-2:30pm.

If you or someone you know could benefit from one of these programs, we’d love to help make the holidays a little brighter. Please remember to bring the required MDHHS paperwork for children in your household. Space is limited, and sign-ups are first come, first served.

Together, we can make the holidays brighter!

*Please note, if you received assistance for Christmas from us in 2025, you will NOT be eligible this year.

We are grateful for our partnership with Re-Connections! Thank you for all the amazing work you do for the community!

🤝 Partnership Friday

At Re-Connections, we are grateful for the organizations that continue to show up for our participants and our community.

Today, we’re highlighting Crossover Outreach and thanking them for the many ways they support Re-Connections. From opening their doors and allowing us to host classes in their building to providing suits and dresses for our graduates on Achievement Day, Crossover Outreach continues to make a meaningful impact.

We also want to congratulate Crossover Outreach on being named a finalist for the Impact 100 Genesee County grant! This recognition reflects their continued commitment to serving and strengthening our community.

We’re currently running low on a few everyday essentials that make a big difference for the individuals and families we serve.

With the colder months quickly approaching, help us furnish homes with warm blankets and bedding and ensure everyone has the clothing they need to stay cozy this fall.

If you’re able to give, we are especially in need of:
- Blankets and Bedding
- Kids Clothing: Boys Sizes 5-8, Girls Sizes 24mo & 14-20
- Men's Clothing: Small and Medium Sizes
