Friends who live in the City of Cumberland: I’m sure you’re tired of politics and the divisiveness nationally & locally, especially on social media we’re experiencing, but, the November 3 election is coming up and I hope to serve you on the City Council to try & make things better, so….my campaign manager Sue George says it’s time to put your signs back up ahead of the election. If you don’t have a sign but would like one, comment below or private message me with your address. Thanks for your support and please be sure to vote!

Good afternoon!
Thank you for your patience as we scheduled our Candidate Forums for the 2026 General Election.

We will host candidates for City Council – City of Cumberland on Monday, October 12 beginning at 7:30pm.
Please plan to arrive no later than 7:15pm.

The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan association serving as the largest business organization in Allegany County, representing hundreds of businesses and organizations across the region. Each candidate will be given an opportunity for an introduction and closing remarks and will be asked to answer questions within the allotted time assigned to each.

Introductions: 2 minutes each
Questions: allotted time varies from 1 to 2 minutes per question
Closing remarks: 2 minutes each

Please let me know if you have any questions.
We look forward to hosting you and will be in touch again soon.

Honored to attend the Western Maryland Health System Foundation Champions for Charity Dunner & fundraiser in advance of their golf tournament today. The Foundation is celebrating 30 years of serving & providing local support for the community. Karen Johnson, President of the Foundation, spoke with gratitude about all the wonderful things the Foundation supports. Michele Martz, local CEO of UPMC Western Maryland, gave an update on all the accomplishments & care that our local health system provides. Our small community is blessed to have this top notch facility. Special thanks to Don Moran & all the local business & individual sponsors & donors that make the work of the non profit Foundation possible. I’m proud to serve on their Board of Directors. Thanks also to Senator Mike McKay & his wife for attending to show their support.

While the City elections are non partisan, I’m proud to say I have the support of both Democrats & Republicans, including those that serve or have served on the City Council. I have the support of retiring City Councilman, Rock Cioni, who urged me to run, former Council persons Laurie Marchini, Nick Scarpelli, Mary Beth Pirolozzi, Dave Caporale, & all the current council Eugene Frazier, Jimmy Furstenburg, Brian Lepley, & Rock. These fine folks support me not because of a party affiliation, but, because of my abilities, experience, fairness, business, community & volunteer background & understanding of the needs of our citizens. I hope you will kindly consider voting for me in November. Party is significant but Principles & serving the People is the most important. Working together we can make a difference. Most importantly, please be sure to vote in November.
