One of our own Arkansas women veterans, Ashley Trevino, recently traveled to Washington, D.C., for the Wounded Warrior Project’s 2026 Women Warriors Summit and stood on Capitol Hill to advocate for women veterans.
Ashley didn’t just go to Washington, she used her voice! She shared her perspective, represented Arkansas, and stood alongside more than 100 women veterans from across the country who came together to make sure the needs and experiences of women veterans are heard.
There is something incredibly powerful about watching a woman who once raised her hand to serve our country continue that service in a different way! By standing up, speaking out, and advocating for the women who came before her, beside her, and those who will come after her.
Thank you for taking Arkansas with you to the Hill and for using your voice to make a difference for women veterans everywhere.
Keep showing up. Keep speaking up. Keep leading. 🇺🇸
