On September 1, 2026, while completing checks of the businesses, Bravo Shift, observed an open door to the outside breaker room, at the vacant Exide Battery Plant. Officers then conducted a sweep of the property along with K9 Deigo. Once on the ground, K9 Diego located two subjects, Michael Bradley and George Haley, both from Jackson, MS . Bradley and Haley were charged with Commercial Burglary and Conspiracy. The Florence Police Department would like to thank the Rankin County Sheriff's Department, the Richland Police Department, and the Pearl Police Department, for their help and quick response to our city.
