Welcome to Wellness Wednesday

Join us for an empowering evening of confidence, safety, and self-care at our upcoming Women’s Self Defense Class!

We are excited to host this special class led by Sensei Sara at our Florence office for women ages 14+.

Participants will learn practical self-defense techniques, build confidence, and gain skills to help them feel stronger and safer in everyday situations. Whether you have experience or are brand new, this class is designed to be welcoming and empowering for all skill levels.

We are still reflecting on the incredible evening we shared at Prom for a Purpose 2026 and are so thankful to Ariana Rodriguez for serving as our keynote speaker. 💙

Ariana delivered a deeply moving and empowering message that resonated with everyone in attendance. By courageously sharing her personal experiences with foster care and homelessness during high school, she reminded us all why our mission matters and the lasting impact support, compassion, and advocacy can have on a child’s life.

Through her initiative, , Ariana continues to be a powerful voice for youth in foster care, bringing hope, dignity, and opportunity to vulnerable young people. Her story is one of resilience, strength, and purpose, and we were honored to have her share it with our community.

In observance of Memorial Day, Family Nurturing Center offices will be closed on Monday, May 25. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

This year’s Prom Court brought so much energy, enthusiasm, compassion, and community support to Prom for a Purpose 2026. Through fundraising, spreading awareness, rallying supporters, attending events, and using their voices to advocate for children and families, they made a meaningful and lasting impact on Family Nurturing Center’s mission to end the cycle of child abuse.

We are especially excited to recognize this year’s top fundraisers:

🏆 1st Place: Jimmie “Bengal Jim” Foster — raising an incredible $15,000+ for children and families in our community!

🥈 2nd Place: Frank Marzullo — raising an amazing $11,000+ in support of our mission!

⭐ Special Recognition Award: Anna Wright from Prysmian — for selling the most tickets in her name and bringing so many friendly faces out to support FNC!

One of the things that made this year so special was seeing regional VIPs, community leaders, businesses, and supporters come together to shine a light on the importance of child abuse prevention. Because of all of you, more people in our community now know about the life-changing work happening every day at Family Nurturing Center.
